JEE Mains 2025 Result: Meet The 14 Toppers With 100 Percentile

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the Jee Mains 2025 result on Tuesday. A total of 14 candidates, including one female and thirteen male students, secured 100 percentile marks in the exam.

Toppers From Various States

The All India Rank (AIR) 1 holders, who achieved a perfect percentile, hail from Rajasthan, Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Among these 14 toppers, 12 belong to the General category, while two candidates are from the OBC-NCL and SC categories.

Proud Moment For A Topper’s Family

Dr. Umesh Jindal, father of Saksham Jindal, one of the 14 toppers, shared his happiness:

“Saksham studied at Allen Hisar until Class 10. On the recommendation of his teachers, we enrolled him in Allen Kota. This was his first attempt, and he emerged as a top scorer. We are extremely happy with his achievement. It was made possible through the guidance of his teachers and our support. We visited Kota frequently to check on him. He scored 97.8% in Class 10 board exams and is now preparing for his Class 12 board exams, which commence on February 15.”

39 Candidates’ Results Withheld

The NTA has withheld the results of 39 candidates due to their involvement in unfair means during the exam.

“The scores of 39 candidates have not been released as they were found indulging in malpractices,” stated the NTA in its official notification.

Eligibility and Next Steps

Candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in Paper 1 will be eligible for BE/BTech admissions in NITs, IIITs, and various government and private engineering institutions. However, only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main rank holders will qualify for JEE Advanced 2025, conducted by IIT Kanpur on May 18, for admission into IITs.

Exam Details And Participation

The JEE Mains 2025 Session 1 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 13 languages on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. The examination took place in two shifts—9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Out of 13,11,544 registered candidates, a total of 12,58,136 students appeared for the exam. It was held in 618 centers across 304 cities, including 15 international locations.

NTA’s Reforms and Answer Key Updates

Following recommendations from a high-level expert committee on NTA reforms, the agency collaborated with state and district authorities to set up monitoring committees and conducted physical audits of examination centers.

The provisional answer key was released on February 4, and candidates were allowed to challenge the answers until February 6, 2025. The final answer key, released on February 10, saw the removal of 12 questions that appeared in different shifts of JEE Mains 2025 Session 1 Paper 1.
