Tata Harrier EV Spotted Testing – What’s New For 2025?
Among others, the Tata Harrier EV, brought to our attention at the Tata Pune plant, was divulged in its production-spec a bit ahead of the official Tata Harrier EV launch date. Hence, in contrast to merely sitting around, the all-electric Harrier performs maneuvers on the screen, including ramp-overs and obstacle tests. A comparative analysis of the Harrier EV‘s design and features in comparison to its diesel counterpart is rendered below.
Tata Harrier EV Front View

While the design of both Harrier siblings is uniform, the Harrier EV is distinguished by a closed-off grille and new bumper styling that features vertical slats similar to those on the Tata Nexon EV. Meanwhile, the diesel version of the Harrier has a chrome mesh grille and a unique air dam. Regardless, the headlight housing and connected LED DRLs remain common to both models.
Tata Harrier EV Side View

The window lines of both the SUVs remain the same, although the Harrier EV enjoys a special “.EV” naming on its front doors for easy differentiation from the diesel model, whose badge reads “HARRIER.”
Another point of difference is in the wheel layout. The Harrier EV comes with dual-tone alloy wheels styled aerodynamically, while the top-spec diesel Harrier features 18-inch alloy wheels in black color. Opting for the Dark Edition variant in the diesel Harrier allows the wheels to be upgraded to 19-inch black alloys.

Both versions come equipped with connected LED taillights, but the Harrier EV is easily recognizable with the Harrier.EV badge on the tailgate. Additionally, it features a redesigned rear bumper with vertical slats, similar to the Nexon EV.
